Sig Sauer’s New Elite Rifles
Enhances the original M400 AR-15.
Sig Sauer recently announced an expansion of its M400 line of tactical rifles. The new model is an Elite model that takes the original M400 rifles and upgrades some features.
The M400 has a 16-inch barrel with 1:7 inch twist. The Elite upgrades the original’s handguard and buttstock. The Elite also has an enhanced pistol grip and single-stage trigger. The Elite comes with a free floating handguard and 6-position telescoping stock. It’s chambered in a 5.56 NATO. You can also buy the M400 Elite with Sig’s Romeo 5 red-dot sight.
Check out the specs on the M400 Elite. The Elite series will be offered, at least at first, in either anodized black and Titanium Cerakote versions. Prices start at $1,200 for the basic model.
