We’re still sifting through the guns we learned about at SHOT Show 2017. The famed Remington company recently introduced the 700 Magpul Rifle, which they had on display there. This is a beauty of a rifle finished in black Cerakote. a 22-inch heavy free-floated barrel has 5-R rifling. Here’s the other specs:
- A threaded muzzle with thread protector
- Carbon steel barreled action with tactical bolt handle
- X-Mark Pro Externally Adjustable Trigger that the press release says “breaks like glass, has virtually zero creep and offers a level shot control unmatched by any factory trigger today.”
- Magpul Hunter stock with aluminum bedding block, which the press release says is “designed to fit any shooter thanks to an adjustable length-of-pull kit and three comb-height inserts.”
The model is named after Magpul, which has been chosen as the Remington supplier for the 700. The 700 model is one of the most popular bolt-action rifles. The 700 Magpul is available in .308 Winchester or .260 Remington. Check it out on the Remington website. ($1,175)
