Pollsters Overwhelmingly Prefer Concealed Carry

An MSNBC poll reveals that majority believe guns should be allowed in public

Pollsters prefer concealed carry

The news site MSNBC is hosting a poll on its website that is asking, “Do you think people should be allowed to carry guns in public?” The answer choices are, ‘Yes! The Second Amendment guarantees it,’ ‘No, it’s too dangerous,’ and ‘Only for self-defense.’

As of mid-day June 30, 525,000 votes were cast. 93% of the votes answered, ‘Yes! The Second Amendment guarantees it.’

20,000 people, or roughly 4%, responded in the negative. 19,000 votes, or roughly 4%, were cast for the third option, only for self defense.

Options 1 and 3 are closely related, don’t you think? Most people who choose to responsibly carry concealed in public do so out of self-defense concerns. Adding these numbers together increases the gap between yes and no by even more. Either way, concealed carry is clearly the favorite among the people who responded in this poll.
