Shooting Reported At South Carolina Elementary School

Updated from yesterday’s post: One 6-year-old boy is fighting for his life after a teenage gunman first murdered his father then headed to the school and opened fire.

The 14-year-old is in custody after shooting a teacher and two students at Townville Elementary School in South Carolina. The boy’s grandmother found the father dead at the family home. Jacob Hall, the critically injured 6-year-old, has a Go Fund Me page set up to help his family with his care. We are sad to report that the boy has since died. The shooter was apparently homeschooled and was not a student at the school. The victims were all shot on the playground. The shooter was not able to enter into the school because teachers responded quickly and locked the doors.
